Comfortable in Your Skin
PCA SKIN is a company that has spent the past 30 years perfecting the art of skincare. They offer several products for every skin type and all kinds of skin conditions. PCA products are available for sale through licensed skin health professionals that have been trained and certified through PCA SKIN. When PCA SKIN came out with a new overnight lip mask and hyaluronic acid face serum, they knew they wanted to display those products in a unique and eye-catching way. PCA SKIN reached out to Prisma for help, and we were ready to take on the challenge and make it happen.
Prisma’s Skin in the Game
Prisma’s design and manufacturing teams had to consider many factors when creating the displays for PCA SKIN, including the issue of space. The displays needed to be large enough to hold the product and be noticeable, but small enough to fit on the counters of their skincare professional customers. The stairstep design of the displays helped to eliminate the amount of counter space needed for the products, which was instrumental in the execution of this project.
Prisma also designed a slit in the bottom of the display where the information cards are placed, which is another way to save space and showcase the unique design. Our next thought when designing these displays was easy assembly. The displays needed to be shipped out flat and then put together upon arrival; the retail partners would need some instruction on how to assemble the displays. Luckily, our team of experts was prepared to solve the problem. The tabs on the displays are labeled with letters for the purpose of easy assembly but are not visible once they are folded in. Not only did we include written notes on how to assemble the displays, but Prisma also included a video tutorial of one of our team members assembling one so that it would be simple to follow along. Now that’s customer service!
The Soft Finishing Touch
PCA SKIN wanted this display to be extra special, and Prisma did not disappoint. PCA SKIN came up with the art and the copy featured on the display, while Prisma designed the shape and material, while also taking care of the packaging and shipping needs for this project. The displays were printed using our offset press, and we then applied a soft-touch laminate material to give a silky-smooth finish that took the quality of the display to the next level. They were die-cut, scored, folded, and glued in-house by Prisma. The end result speaks for itself – this display is beautiful, functional, easy to assemble, and soft to the touch.
