Promoting Safety and Boosting Morale
When Republic Services needed signage produced for their third ROAD-EO National Championship, Prisma was eager to help. Republic Services is a leader in the environmental services industry, operating in 45 states across the nation. With safety being one of their core values, Republic Services was inspired to create an event celebrating their industry-leading safety program. The ROAD-EO National Championship promotes safety and recognizes employees by bringing together the company’s top drivers, operators and mechanics to compete in rigorous driving and mechanical challenges. They hosted their first ROAD-EO event in 2017 and have hosted it every two years since then. Prisma had the pleasure of working with Republic Services for their first two ROAD-EO National Championships and was honored to be a part of the event for the third time.
Installing with Care
Months before the event, Prisma worked alongside the Republic Services team to begin planning the graphic placement and types of signage needed. With Republic Services’ creative designs and Prisma’s planning, production, and installation services, more than 275 banners, wayfinding flags, fence mesh, and concrete graphics were successfully executed by Prisma’s Large Format team. Prisma also produced essential event collateral like the program and name badges worn by attendees. A team of Prisma’s installation professionals traveled to the event location at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, to install the signage over two days, ensuring a smooth event setup process. Our installation team was also there to remove all signage promptly after the event.
Conquering Challenges
With a short timeline and a substantial number of graphics, this project was a challenge Prisma was equipped to execute successfully. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the results looked fantastic. Republic Services can’t wait to start preparing for the 2023 ROAD-EO National Championship. Prisma is excited to be included in the next event and has begun planning with the goal of using sustainable materials in mind.
Benchmark Electronics is an all-inclusive technology design, production, and manufacturing company. They are equipped to handle projects from conception to full-scale manufacturing and beyond! When they needed a mural installation on the glass walls of their conference room for their Tempe office location, Prisma’s grand format team stepped up to the plate. Benchmark wanted something that would really capture their brand and showcase the lively town of Tempe, Arizona. Prisma developed a plan that would accomplish this with style and ease.
Prisma’s goal was to create a unique, functional, and visually appealing Benchmark mural. Our creative team worked closely with Benchmark to design a mural that showcased the essence of their Tempe location, while simultaneously maintaining brand consistency. The Benchmark team decided to feature something that would make them feel at home, which is why Prisma’s creative team incorporated imagery of the well-known Tempe Town Lake and “A” Mountain in the mural. This representation is exclusive to this Benchmark location; whereas their logo and tagline on the mural uphold their brand and keep it consistent amongst all Benchmark locations.
Prisma printed the mural directly on eight Dusted Crystal glass panels using our wide format printer. This material helps to create an aesthetic visual from the inside. While the original material for the project was going to be opaque, Prisma recommended that the panels be translucent to allow more light into the room. This was key to really making the mural pop! Prisma’s installation team brought the entire design together by also including Dusted Crystal glass on the conference room doors.
