Louisiana State University’s (LSU) Athletics department establish The Brand with a clear purpose: equipping student-athletes with comprehensive resources to maximize their Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities. Through this initiative, athletes gain access to professional communications, social media strategy, photography, graphic design, video production, podcasting, marketing expertise, and specialized NIL services.
Before The Brand could fulfill its mission of empowering athletes to cultivate their personal brands, it first needed to establish its own presence and identity in the competitive collegiate athletics landscape.
Building a Brand Starts with a Story
LSU envisioned transforming the third floor hallway of Tiger Stadium into something extraordinary. They wanted to showcase an immersive visual narrative that would spark powerful connections between fans, athletes, and the distinctive identity of each athletic program.
LSU Athletics required a partner with exceptional production capabilities to deliver extensive materials within a compressed timeline without the complexity of coordinating multiple vendors for design, printing, manufacturing, and installation. When LSU approached Vivid Ink (now known as Prisma Baton Rouge), they presented a formidable challenge of bringing their bold vision to life. Vivid Ink’s comprehensive in-house production infrastructure is specifically engineered for ambitious, large-scale projects. Within just 12 weeks, the team manufactured, fabricated, designed, proofed, and installed over 4,000 square feet of custom wallpaper and case openings.
