Coyotes to hold benefit game for Granite Mountain Hotshots families

We’ve been a proud partner of the Phoenix Coyotes for the past 5 years, printing game programs, schedules, stadium graphics, program flipbooks and more. Aside from print though, we get excited when they support our local community and enable us to as well. Please take a moment and read the Coyotes news release below and learn how you can help.

On Wednesday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. the Arizona Coyotes will be holding a benefit game for the Granite Mountain Hotshots families at Jobing.com Arena. This will be an intrasquad scrimmage to raise money for firefighters’ families of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighters who perished fighting the Yarnell Hill fire on June 30. Tickets are just $5 and all proceeds will benefit the families of the firefighters. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 480-563-PUCK (7825) or online at PhoenixCoyotes.com.

“With our players back in town for training camp, this will be the first opportunity for the Coyotes organization to do something special to help raise funds for the families of those firefighters who were lost in the tragic fire in Yarnell,” said Co-Owner and Chair of Coyotes Charities Dave Duckett. “We are confident that a large number of our fans will attend the game to support the families that were affected.”

Fans are also encouraged to donate online at http://coyotes.auction-bid.org/ or by texting “Coyotes” to 68494. In addition, the Coyotes will auction off autographed Yarnell tribute jerseys that will be worn by the players during warm-up before the intrasquad game. The proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle that night and Yarnell lapel pins sold by Glendale Firefighters Charities will also benefit the families of the tragedy. The Coyotes new ownership group, IceArizona, will match proceeds raised from the event to donate the funds to the Granite Mountain Hotshots families.

The following Westgate City Center restaurants and businesses will also be donating $1 per check on the night of Sept. 18 to families of the Granite Mountain Hotshots: Shane’s Rib Shack, Just Sports, Razzleberriez Frozen Yogurt, Which Wich, Mama Gina’s, La Lady Boutique, Whiskey Rose Bar & Grill, Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, Saddle Ranch Chop House, The Shout House and Johnny Rockets.
