Wide-eyed, enthusiastic students piled in to Cooley Ballroom last week for the “Ask the Experts” event on the ASU Polytechnic campus in Mesa, Arizona. I manned the Prisma booth, along with our President Simon Beltran, interacting with many of the 150+ students in attendance.
This event was a great experience; students approached our booth intrigued at finding out what Prisma does. It was a nice opportunity to explain our vast capabilities, ranging beyond just print.
Since many of the students who attended are studying computer sciences, it was great to have the opportunity to explain what our developers do, particularly on the dokshop side of the business. Dokshop is our home-grown software platform that allows multiple users to create, access, print, distribute and track marketing assets on demand. Those students studying graphic information technology were excited to learn about Prisma’s print, marketing, and creative capabilities and how those can fit into their areas of study.
“I enjoyed this event.” said Simon. “We were able to share information on who Prisma is and enable the students to walk away with more understanding of what type of jobs are out there,” said Simon.
There were about 30 companies in attendance and it was apparent that Prisma had an enticing booth; then again who wouldn’t want scented postcards and mailers containing plantable seeds.
