Karen’s extensive background in human resource management and employee development made her an excellent match for Prisma’s growing team needs. Before joining Prisma, Karen led the HR efforts of the Phoenix Suns for more than 26 years. Under her leadership, the HR team is responsible for employment branding, recruitment, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations and diversity and inclusion initiatives spanning both the Phoenix and Nashville teams. Karen serves on the advisory boards for Valley of the Sun YMCA and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Phoenix. As a proud Phoenix native, Karen graduated from Arizona State University. She and her husband have two adult children. Her favorite out-of-office activities include traveling and taking cooking classes.
