A Message That Needed to Feel Credible
Texas Methodist Foundation works with donors and faith-based organizations on some of their most important decisions— how to grow, and steward what they’ve built. A brochure explaining that kind of work needed to do more than share information. It needed to feel like something worth trusting.
The Right Feel Builds Trust
For an audience evaluating a long-term partner, first impressions carry weight. A piece that feels thin or generic can undercut a message about stability and stewardship before a reader gets pas the cover. The Foundation needed a printed piece substantial enough to match the seriousness of the conversations it was meant to start.
Built to Feel as Good as It Reads
We worked with Texas Methodist Foundation to create a brochure and folder system built around texture and tactile detail:
- A 12-page, self-cover, saddle-stitched book, printed offset on our Komori LS-40 Perfectore + Coater for sharp, consistent color throughout.
- 8pt Topcote Dull Cover Stock, printed in full four-color process with a soft-touch aqueous coating — giving every page a soft, tactile feel that invites a reader to slow down.
- Matching capcity pocket folder, printed on heavier 130# Topcote Dull Cover with the same soft-touch aqueous finish, then die cut and converted to hold the brochure securely.
Every material choice was made to reinforce the same message the words were carrying: this is an organization built for the long term.
A Piece Donors Notice Instantly
The result is a brochure and folder that communicate credibility the moment they’re picked up — soft to the touch, precise in color, and built to hold up through repeated handling by donors and partners alike. For Texas Methodist Foundation, it’s printed piece that matches the weight of the work it represents.
