Signage That Keeps Up With the Menu
Craft beer lists don’t sit still — and neither should the signage built around them. When Culinary Dropout opened its newest location in Tempe, Arizona, the team needed a way to spotlight a beer selection that rotates seasonally, without redoing the wall every time a keg changed.
That’s the challenge we were brought in to solve.
The Approach
The centerpiece is a custom “Breweries We Love” display: dimensional lettering, printed on PVC, cut to shape, and hand-painted along every edge. Each letter was fabricated as an individual piece and installed by our team — the kind of detail work that turns a wall into a statement.
Below it, eight beer glasses represent the beers currently on tap. Rather than fixed signage, these are printed router magnets that adhere directly to the steel wall — easy to swap, easy to reprint, and quick enough to keep pace with Culinary Dropout’s changing taps. We rounded out the space with printed aluminum signage, adding another layer of polish to the interior.
Why it Works
The result gives Culinary Dropout something most signage can’t offer: flexibility. As breweries rotate in and out, the display updates just as fast — no reprints that lag behind the menu, no static signage that goes stale. It’s a small design choice that keeps the space feeling current every time a guest walks in.

Projects like this are why we enjoy interior signage work — the chance to print across PVC, metal, wood, vinyl, acrylic, glass, and magnets, and bring personality into a physical space.
