Axon came to Prisma with more than a packaging request-they needed a system that could scale alongside one of their fastest-growing global products.
As the TASER 10 expanded into new international markets, so did its required documentation. Warnings, warranties, usage guides, and compliance materials quickly accumulated, pushing beyond what the original box was designed to hold. The result: unnecessary bulk, rising costs, and packaging that no longer met the expectations of modern, global products.
Prisma was brought in to rethink the entire experience-starting with the box.
A Box Built for a Global Product
What began as a packaging update quickly became a strategic redesign for international readiness.
Axon ships the TASER 10 globally, and every shipment includes the full documentation. As those materials grew, boxes became oversized, shipping costs increased, and end users (public safety agencies), were left with kits that felt cluttered rather than intuitive.
This issue also challenged some of the goals behind Axon’s Moonshot initiative. The Moonshot is a pledge to cut gun-related deaths between police and public in the United States by 50% by 2033. Prisma reengineered the packaging to support a complete, well-organized system that now includes:
- A consolidated welcome and documentation packet
- QR codes linking to digital materials for scalability
- A stress-relief branded merch item
- All functional components of the TASER 10 device
Purpose-Built for the Axon TASER 10
Additionally, Prisma’s newly engineered structure secures the TASER 10 intuitively and securely, reinforcing Axon’s product confidence while streamlining the unboxing and setup process. For agencies that often train and deploy directly from a single kit, durability, clarity, and ease of use are critical — and the new design delivers on all three.
The result is packaging that doesn’t just protect the device but enhances the experience of receiving and deploying it.
More Than Packaging— A Scalable System
In the end, this wasn’t just about creating a better box. It was about building a flexible, future-ready system.
Prisma delivered a solution that supports Axon’s global footprint, improves usability, and allows room for continued documentation growth, all while protecting a critical public safety device. This is exactly what Axon needs as they continue to power the future of public safety.
Benchmark Electronics is an all-inclusive technology design, production, and manufacturing company. They are equipped to handle projects from conception to full-scale manufacturing and beyond! When they needed a mural installation on the glass walls of their conference room for their Tempe office location, Prisma’s grand format team stepped up to the plate. Benchmark wanted something that would really capture their brand and showcase the lively town of Tempe, Arizona. Prisma developed a plan that would accomplish this with style and ease.
Prisma’s goal was to create a unique, functional, and visually appealing Benchmark mural. Our creative team worked closely with Benchmark to design a mural that showcased the essence of their Tempe location, while simultaneously maintaining brand consistency. The Benchmark team decided to feature something that would make them feel at home, which is why Prisma’s creative team incorporated imagery of the well-known Tempe Town Lake and “A” Mountain in the mural. This representation is exclusive to this Benchmark location; whereas their logo and tagline on the mural uphold their brand and keep it consistent amongst all Benchmark locations.
Prisma printed the mural directly on eight Dusted Crystal glass panels using our wide format printer. This material helps to create an aesthetic visual from the inside. While the original material for the project was going to be opaque, Prisma recommended that the panels be translucent to allow more light into the room. This was key to really making the mural pop! Prisma’s installation team brought the entire design together by also including Dusted Crystal glass on the conference room doors.
