The People of Prisma

Michael was first introduced to printing at his high school in Minnesota. After graduating, he attended Hennepin Technical College, focusing on Graphic Communications. His first employer was Wallace W. Carlson Company where he started as a platemaker and worked his way up through the prepress prisma-department to become a lead stripper and assistant manager. Michael has also worked at Ambrose Printing in Nashville, starting in prepress, moving into purchasing and inventory control, and later developing a customer service prisma-department. With 38 years of experience, he brings in-depth knowledge and understanding of the printing industry. He is diligent in his work and strives to meet client needs.

When Michael is not at work, he enjoys his home life with his husband of 28 years and their two rather rambunctious dachshunds, Nicholas and Benjamin. He also enjoys organic gardening and has recently developed an interest in native plants and is in the process of creating a native wildflower garden in his back yard. He also is a genealogist and enjoys researching his family’s history.
