John Alber
Account Executive
John Alber has been in print sales for over 25 years. This comes as no surprise, with one of his grandfathers being a pressman and the other the owner of a car dealership. Clearly, print and sales run in his blood. John started his print career in 1985 as a pressman, the same year he married his wife of 36 years, Teresa. In January of 1988, he went to work as a pressman for TruColor Litho, which became one of Nashville’s premier quality commercial printers. Shortly after, John became the company estimator which included job planning, customer service, and overseeing production of jobs. A few years later, he carried those abilities into a full-time sales position, where he has continued with “hands on service” while building lasting, trusted relationships. Even today, John has accounts that he started with back in 1995. He says that he sees himself as his customers’ extension into the print world, saying, “It’s really the customer that I work for.”
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, riding his bicycle, and playing guitar at church.
