The People of Prisma

Alan has been in the print industry since right out of high school, starting as a cutter operator, but this was only the beginning. Alan has dedicated over 40 years to the world of print and 20 of those years to Prisma. His passion for the industry can be seen through the quality of his work, and his leadership skills are recognized by many, even earning him a few awards including Employee of the Year.

Alan worked his way up through the ranks, eventually holding management positions as Pre-Production Manager, Quality Process Manager, and landing in Executive Management. Joining Prisma in 2001, he started as a Customer Service Representative and Estimator, and moved into the sales side of the business and found himself as General Manager before he knew it. He has dedicated his time to learning the key elements of sustainability, implementing company-wide green initiatives and helping customers uphold their commitment to environmental and social responsibility by offering Forrest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper and vegetable-based inks. His passion has helped Prisma secure contracts with clients who share similar green initiatives.

In his free time Alan enjoys woodworking, fishing, photography, and even teaches a weekly class of 10 to 12 adults’ topics such as leadership, marriage enrichment, how to live a generous life, and may other topics.
